As an HOA, Smith Ranch Homes has established rules that must be followed to ensure the safety and peaceful environment of the property. Please read through the Policies, Rules & Regulations, Article 9.3 which gives residents and their family members all the details that are necessary when getting ready for your move. 
Residents must let SRH know when the move in/out date has been scheduled and the name of the moving company. Regardless of whom you choose, it is important that you discuss the following with your selected vendor:
 
  • They must use a straight axle/bobtail type truck. Tractor trailers/semi-truck combinations are not permitted onsite.

  • Moves are permitted Monday - Friday. Movers must start no earlier than 8:00 a.m. and must be off the property by 5:00 p.m.

  • The company must submit a Certificate of Insurance showing proof of liability to residentservices@smithranchhomes.org at least five days prior to the move in/out date.
 
Moving companies approved and recommended by Smith Ranch Homes. These companies have been selected by Smith Ranch and provide training to their staff to make them familiar with Smith Ranch Homes and its special requirements.

All movers must contact the Resident Services Desk at (415) 492-4900 to make arrangements. Any mover not noted must provide a certificate of insurance for liability and workers compensation. The same procedure is necessary for furniture delivery companies, decorators and designers, department stores or any other deliveries you might schedule around your move from Smith Ranch.
 
In the event you are not using a commercial mover, you must make prior arrangements with the Resident Services Office and follow the guidelines as noted.  You must show proof of liability through your homeowners insurance.
