In 1990, Smith Ranch Homes had its first residents move in, two years after breaking ground in 1988. Nearly 35 years after opening, residents came together to celebrate its history. Smith Ranch Homes - The Early Years was exhibited on multiple posters in the SRH Art Gallery. The month-long celebration concluded with a dinner that mimicked the first dinner ever served in the Dining Room. Heidi Krahling, the first head chef, joined as a special guest, telling stories of the early days of the HOA.
